Why does Hypnotherapy work?

Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy are often confused with sleeping. However, it actually works with the subconscious mind, which is always awake. It hosts our emotions and imagination as well as offering us protection. It can be considered the rational part of our conscious mind that gives us reasons why we do the things that we do.

When we bypass the critical factors of our conscious thinking, we can directly communicate with our subconscious mind to retrieve memories and experience our emotions. It is raw and beautiful, as it does not hide anything from the truth.

As humans, we are used to relying on our logical selves when making decisions and taking actions. Oftentimes, we suppress our feelings in the process and lose that sense of understanding.

We may have also experienced events in life which made a significant impact on our subconscious mind. But we were not fully equipped with the knowledge to process them properly. In hindsight, those emotions got unknowingly programmed in us, and continue to affect how we live our lives.

That’s why it is super important to connect with our inner self for both discovery and recovery. Or just simply use it as a sanctuary that offers relaxation in a deep state.
